AFC Bournemouth have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season. AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust and Stormbreak have worked in partnership to produce “Football Moves", a series of 12 mental health football moves to support children with their mental health. The collaborative project aims to get primary-aged children happy, active and healthy through 12 new mentally healthy movement activities with a football theme. One in five children experience mental health difficulties, with half of these developing before the age of 14. At a time when children are also less likely to be active, Stormbreak is tackling children's emotional wellbeing and physical activity levels with inclusive, short and accessible mental health and wellbeing movement activities like the new "Football Moves". Building on the strong support generated by the women’s first team fixtures taking place at Long Lane last season, supporters are encouraged to watch the next generation of AFC Bournemouth players across the upcoming campaign. Now fully integrated into AFC Bournemouth, the development squad will look to build on the success of last season while continuing to play a vital role in bridging the gap between youth and senior football. More than 4,000 miles from Atlanta, Georgia, England’s exit from the World Cup hit especially hard on Alex Scott on the Bailiwick of Guernsey. The AFC Bournemouth midfielder, who narrowly missed out on a place in the Three Lions squad, took the opportunity to return home to watch the tournament with friends and family. In the lead up to the finals, Scott was rewarded for an excellent season with the Cherries with an invitation to join head coach Thomas Tuchel’s squad during a preparation camp in Florida.It was an invaluable experience for Scott, who played a starring role when England were crowned European Under-19 Championship winners in 2022 and European Under-21 Championship winners three years later. Leyland Waite has been at AFC Bournemouth since the age of 12. AFC Bournemouth under-17s got off to a winning start in the U17 Premier League Cup, thanks to a 3-2 victory over Southampton.  Goals from Leyland Waite, Denzel Decardi-Nelson and Fikayo Solanke secured the three points for the Cherries.  It ensures the Cherries get off to the strongest possible start in a group that also contains Chelsea and West Ham United.  After the game, under-18s assistant coach, Elliot Head, spoke to afcb.co.uk:  "The first half was a tight game with chances for both teams.  "We regained the ball high up the pitch a few teams that lead to some good chances which we weren't quite able to capitalise from."  The Cherries went into the interval level at 0-0, after tight first-half.  Scoring in the 50th and 55th minute, the Cherries were then forced back into their own half, as Southampton brought the score level.
